I lead innovation teams and design award-winning products, programs, and strategies. Focusing on nascent technology, I partner with users to learn new domains, create solutions to complex problems, and apply my deep understanding of storytelling to explain the technology and evangelize its potential. I am passionate about inventing, hacking, and building products and have led innovation programs at Microsoft, Pixar, Yahoo!, SGI/Alias Wavefront, and Xerox PARC. Recently, I founded March 4th Labs to help others realize their product vision and improve how people live, learn, work, and play.

My first patent was published in 1996 for the invention of a system that stores and retrieves information correlated with a recording of an event. My last patent issued in 2019 was for interactive trigger zones on the surface of projected models.
