FOUNDER & PARTNER DIRECTOR, MICROSOFT EDUCATION WORKSHOP
The program brought 100 K-12 educators to the Microsoft campus for a week of Hacking STEM professional development. Then, educators were paired with 136 Microsoft engineers to develop design thinking and data science lesson plans in the subsequent week. This initiative showcased the power of teacher-led innovation. Several projects graduated into the Hacking STEM portfolio, and the program emerged as the 2018 Microsoft Global Hackathon Prize winner, exemplifying the opportunities for transformative impact when educators receive the necessary support, resources, and a community of like-minded professionals
