Designed and developed user interfaces for electronically mediated environments that enabled real-time and asynchronous communications among collaborating communities. Invented tools that enabled authoring, indexing, annotating, retrieving, and editing multimedia information. Explored work practices, built user models, and evaluated the effectiveness of designs across a suite of emerging communication technologies.
